Meet the Staff

Kate Griffin

Kate Griffin commenced working with the St. Hilda’s School community this year as a Grade 5 Teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Education from Monash University. Kate began her teaching career at La Perouse, New South Wales, 5 years ago. At this school technology integration involved predominately the use of an Interactive White Board and an hourly session each day in the computer laboratory.

Prior to commencing at St Hilda’s School, Kate held the position of Senior School Coordinator at St John Vianney’s Primary, one of five technology Pilot Schools in Victoria. She was involved in the integration of Google for Education which saw all computer based documents move to an online share version accessible from anywhere in the world.

Kate is excited to be part of the iPad Program this year and has already delved into Apple Teacher to earn her badges with the support of Dan Martinez. As a passionate teacher, Kate understands the importance to providing access to a technologically contemporary education.
