Meet the Staff

Raechel Alback

Raechel Alback has been at St Hilda’s School for 9 years and is an experienced educator of students Prep to Year 6. She began her teaching career 17 years ago in Sydney. She has teaching experience in public, catholic and private schools. Raechel has also taught at Cranbrook – a school for boys in Rose Bay, Sydney before specialising in girls education here at St Hilda’s.


Raechel has previous experience with 1:1 iPads, teaching Year 5 here at St Hilda’s in 2012 and 2013. She thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities iPads presented and the value that technology brings to the learning environment.


In 2012 Raechel was part of the Digital Technologies team and began writing iTunes U courses and presented this knowledge at a Digital Technologies Conference with a focus on Technology in Literacy Circles. Raechel has also attended EduTech conferences to broaden her knowledge on the importance of Digital Technologies in schools.


Raechel is thrilled to the involved in the iPad Program again year and is a newly appointed Apple Teacher.
