Meet the Staff

Jacqueline Yates

Jacqueline Yates started working at St Hilda’s School during 2016 as a Year 3 classroom teacher, and is now teaching Year 4. She completed a Business Management Degree at the University of Queensland, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education at the Queensland University of Technology. Jacqueline then went on to the study her Master of Education in Teaching for Diversity, continuing at the Queensland University of Technology. She commenced her teaching career 6 years ago at Coomera Anglican College on the Northern Gold Coast.

 

Jacqueline is excited to be a part of the 1:1 device initiative that begins in Year 4 at St Hilda’s and is keen to broaden her digital pedagogy. She respects the importance of bringing technology into the classroom as a learning tool and is looking forward to working alongside Apple Distinguished Educators to deepen her technological knowledge.
