Meet the Staff

Chloe Halcro

Chloe Halcro began working at St Hilda’s School in 2013, teaching across a variety of year levels within the Junior School. Chloe graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Education in 2011. Chloe is currently teaching Year 6 students and enjoys the opportunity to embed technology into her teaching.

Students of the 21st century love the opportunity to learn through the use of technology. At St Hilda’s School students in Years 5 and 6 are part of the iPad program and  access much of their learning through the iTunesU application. This platform lends superb flexibility and accessibility to learning materials. At any point in time, students can immerse themselves in content.

Chloe also facilitates the Droning in Primary Education Course. This course allows students to develop their coding skills via the Mini Parrot Drones. Skills that are taught in the coding unit are not specific to any one device, but rather a real world transferable skills. Chloe looks forward to the endless opportunities that lie ahead in the Technologies curriculum.
